Client Q+A - Tia
My client Tia started personal training with me after a skiing injury left her needing to build up the muscle in one of her legs.
Amy: When did you start training, and what was your motivation behind starting?
Tia: I started training with you towards the end of October 2019.
My motivation behind getting fit was due to a skiing accident I had in 2018, which left me needing surgery to reconstruct my ACL in my left knee. My muscles in my left leg deteriorated over time, and there was a significant difference in strength in each of my legs. I had previously tried many different fad diets/exercise classes to try to build up the strength however I wasn’t getting the results I wanted.
I wanted to focus on building muscle back up in my left leg and looking leaner, as I felt this would help me become more confident in myself. I also wanted to change my bad eating habits, into healthy lifestyle options!
Amy: What is your favourite exercise?
Tia: Love love love the cable leg curl!
Amy: What is your number one tip for someone who is just starting out at the gym?
Tia: Be consistent, stay motivated and don’t give up! We all have bad days…
Amy: What have you learned from your experience with me as your personal trainer?
Tia: Weight training isn’t scary! You are very personable and always happy to help! Nothing is ever to much to ask.
Amy: How has working on your health and fitness affected your life outside of the gym?
Tia: I feel healthier and stronger, I have more energy and I don't feel constantly tired. I now understand how my macros work a lot more too!
Amy: Would you recommend personal training sessions to a friend?
Tia: 100%. I’d recommend you to anyone - you’re always there to support and guide me through my journey.
